Over $60 in Prizes

You know how we feel about short stories here at The Write Practice. (Hint: We love them.) Today, we want to give away some of our best tools for writing short stories.

One lucky winner will receive the following:

  • My book Let’s Write a Short Story, the essential guide to the craft of short stories.
  • A Moleskine journal, an awesome place to write your next story.
  • A Space Pen so you can write your story underwater, over grease, upside down, in extreme temperatures, and in zero gravity. (Bonus points if you manage all of those at once!)
  • A snazzy pair of sunglasses (worn by me!), perfect for writing outside in the summer. Write with Hunter S. Thompson‘s genius as you imitate his iconic sunglass-wearing style.

Win Awesome Writing Resources from The Write Practice: Giveaway!

P.S. You may want to write a short story sooner than you think. Next week, we’ll be announcing an exciting reason for you to sit down and write.

Sadly, (for me) among all the people I know in the UK I don’t know anyone who writes. I’d like those gifts though!

A little sad that I missed the opportunity to enter (I didn’t have access to the internet for much of the day, then had a “family thing” that I needed to go to), but good luck to anyone who successfully entered!
