Jasmine is a writer, book coach, and editor who is passionate about empowering writers to share their stories. With her BA in Communication and Theater and MA in Leadership, she offers unique insights into both the creative process and the executive functioning skills that turn ideas into manuscripts. Jasmine is the author of the YA novel Ripples, and she has served as a grant writer for a nonprofit and developmental editor for Streamline Books.

If you have a complete draft of your novel, you're ready for a manuscript critique. You'll receive an in-depth editorial letter with overall impressions and actionable feedback. The critique focuses on big picture items, such as characterization, plot, and pacing. You'll learn what you're already doing well and what you could improve with suggestions as to how to change. The manuscript critique includes a one-hour call to review feedback and answer questions. This is an exciting and important step on your journey to publishing! (Manuscripts over 100k words will incur an additional charge.)

Line Editing

Once your story's structure is firmly in place, you're ready to dive into the details. A line edit is a comprehensive form of editing that elevates your manuscript from a rough draft to a page-turning novel. You'll receive specific suggestions and comments on the paragraph and sentence level, with a focus on style, flow, readability, and clarity.
