Line Editing

Line Editing Line editing is a part in the book editing process where the editor aims to improve the clarity of a piece of writing. A professional line editor examines the manuscript on a sentence level, leaving suggestions for word choice, syntax, and tone to enhance the author’s writing style and the text’s overall effectiveness. A line editor is attentive to the writer’s individual style (for that reason, the job is sometimes called stylistic editing) and approaches the manuscript as a careful reader. A line editor works line-by-line, tightening up sentence structure so the language is sharp and clear. This is priced at $0.03 per word.

The Darwin Curve by Michael Berger

Science Fiction

In Michael Berger's book "The Darwin Curve", readers are taken on a thrilling journey through a futuristic world that combines technology, power, and spirituality. The story is set in a near-future world where machines of an enormous scale may have become sentient, and humanity is divided between those who seek truth and those who keep secrets. Julian Gillan's quest to dig deeper into Earth than anyone before him may, unknown to him, provide answers to the questions that have long plagued humanity. The book raises profound questions about seeking "understanding" in an era where only "knowledge" shapes reality in the hands of those who control information and narratives. The Vatican, World Wide Energy, and the White House are all involved in espionage, cloning, genomics, and archaeology, all with deeper motives. Personal journeys and explorations bring us closer to answering the question, "Why are we here?" once and for all.

Yes, I would work with this coach again!

I was so impressed with Kyle. He knew my manuscript in detail, remembering chapters and scenes as we discussed them. He gave me helpful feedback and ideas about filling in the structural holes. He was easy to speak with and very efficient. His thoughtful commentary and suggestions made me feel better and energized about my work and the rewrite ahead of me. I can't say enough nice things about him as a professional and as a person.

Working with Kyle Cisco was absolutely the best. I highly regard his advice in making corrections to my manuscript to improve it. We talked about future endeavors, such as using him as my next editor for my final manuscript review and hiring him as my publicist. I am so excited about working with him in the near future. He is the go-to person I will seek out to get me where I need to be to become a successful published author.
