Celebrating Our 5th Anniversary With a Huge Giveaway

by Joe Bunting | 8 comments

Today is The Write Practice’s fifth anniversary!

That’s pretty crazy to think about. Five years ago, The Write Practice was just a budding site, one little writing blog trying to make a space for itself on the internet. Since then, we’ve grown into a thriving community full of amazing writers who come back day after day to share our writing practice and support one another.

5th Anniversary Giveaway

The truth is, The Write Practice wouldn’t be what it is today without you. So to celebrate turning five, I want to say, THANK YOU.

We started the party when we opened our 5th Anniversary Writing Contest. (Registration for the contest closes tonight, so don't forget to enter here.) But we want to do even more.

And what better way to say “Thank you!” than with a giveaway?

We’ve put together some really special prizes, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Enter the giveaway now! Or, get all the details below.

How to Enter the Giveaway

Want to enter the giveaway? Here’s how to maximize your chances of winning:

  3. Then, enter your email address to enter.
  4. Check your email and click the link in the confirmation email to confirm your entry.
  5. After you enter, share the contest page with your friends. For each friend who enters, you get 3 more chances to win.

So excited about the giveaway! I’m glad to have the chance to be here as you celebrate 5 years. The Write Practice has truly impacted my writing over the last 2 years, since I found you guys. Being a part of a community helped me to overcome my fear of posting my writing, and I can always claim that my first real published work was my guest post on here 🙂

Thank you, Joe and everyone else who makes TWP possible, for being here to train writers and give them confidence. Y’all taught me so much of what I know about writing, and I keep learning every day!

The Write Practice has been one of the best things for my writing journey. I was going through an old journal and I read some of the things I wrote. Some of them came from Write Practice exercises. This website stirred some creative juices I didn’t think I had; got me thinking outside the box. And the articles are very informative. I’ve put some of the lessons given into practice.

Thank you so much for everything and will continue to do.

    Happy Anniversary.
Thanks for every helpful, friendly post, and direct links to members queries, tips and suggestions, feedback and personal data.
Cheers to everyone, especially Joe Bunting and Ruth Anne Reid, and to my cat-lover friend, Pamela Hodges.

I love the write practice because there’s no pressure from anyone to write. They don’t mind if you hit a problem and need a bit of time off. Here’s to the next five years.
